Founder & Chief Consultant

A strong leader and change agent passionate about making a positive difference for the customers she serves, Julie is goal oriented, has strong ethics and a positive attitude. She is an excellent communicator and mentor, and always ready to put her skills to work wherever they are needed.

Julie has decades of experience in leadership at all levels, including the executive level. She's spent several years in consulting providing her clients with the change agent skillset needed to implement significant changes across organizations; program management, interim information technology and other department management, created project management offices, Agile software development transitions, and much more. She began her career as a technical software developer and held various positions within information technology. She has also held executive roles in the areas of operations, product and market development and has led and played key roles in multiple company mergers and integrations.

She specializes in healthcare, health information exchange, and health plan industries. She also has experience in office furniture manufacturing, retail supermarkets and wholesale distribution, telecommunications, automotive, and financial industries as well.

She is a certified Project Management Professional, holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Toledo (summa cum laude), and completed executive certifications from University of Michigan's Ross School of Business and Inforum.

Julie is passionate about giving back evidenced by her decades of volunteer activities and associations including co-chair and member of kConnect's data workgroup, life story volunteer at Emmanuel Hospice, mentor and member of Michigan Council of Women In Technology Foundation, Board of Director's at neighborhood association, Inforum member, church volunteer, member of Project Management Institute, member of Economic Club of Grand Rapids, and has volunteered at several other needs-based organizations such as Mel Trotter, Degage Ministries, Kids Food Basket, and Feeding America of West Michigan.
